Imposter Game is a pass-the-phone party game. It is built to need as little information about you as possible, and this policy explains what that means in practice.
Imposter Game does not ask you to create an account and never asks for your name, email address or phone number. You can play without telling us who you are.
Player names, custom words, chosen decks, language, sound and haptic settings are stored on your device only. They are never uploaded to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment and keeps your payment details; we never see them. To confirm what you own, restore it on a new device and count our subscription revenue, the app uses two subscription management services, Adapty and RevenueCat. Adapty receives an identifier created for this installation and the identifier Apple assigns our app on your device, the details of your App Store purchases (which plan, its price and currency, and when it started, renewed, ended or was refunded) and basic technical information (device model, system and app version, language, time zone, store country and the IP address your connection comes from). RevenueCat receives an app user ID it creates for this installation and the same identifier Apple assigns our app, your App Store purchase receipts and transactions (the same purchase details), the same kind of basic technical information and, if you installed the app from an Apple Ads ad, the attribution token Apple provides for that install. Neither receives your name, your email address or your device's advertising identifier. Adapty's own privacy policy is at adapty.io/privacy, and RevenueCat's is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The app shows no advertising and contains no advertising SDK. It does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and never asks for permission to. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we share it only with the service providers this policy names, for the purposes it describes.
The app does not record what you do inside it: no screens, no taps, nothing about your games. The only numbers we see are about purchases: which plan was bought, renewed, cancelled or refunded, counted by Adapty and RevenueCat from the purchase details above. If you installed the app from an Apple Ads ad, the app passes Adapty and RevenueCat the attribution token Apple provides for that install, and Apple's own attribution service tells us which campaign and keyword the ad belonged to. That uses no advertising identifier and no tracking permission. If a future version adds anything else, this policy will be updated first.
Imposter Game is rated 9+ on the App Store and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age.
Everything the app keeps about your games lives on your device and goes when you delete the app. The only records held elsewhere are the purchase records Adapty and RevenueCat keep for us, which carry no name or email. To see them or have them deleted, write to us with the order ID from your App Store receipt so we can find it, and we will answer within 30 days.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new version ships inside the app. Material changes are announced in the app's update notes.
